Connect2Media acts as a developer and global publisher and distributor for digital entertainment for both B2B and B2C marketplaces. From big screen Interactive TV through to small screen mobile phones, Connect2Media's content is available through many of the world's biggest media providers.


Eric Hobson - CEO and Co-Founder of Connect2Media Ltd

Eric Hobson - CEO & Co-Founder of Connect2MediaEric is a well known figure in the Global Market for Mobile Entertainment. Until recently he was General Manager and President of Hands On Europe for EMEA, South-East Asian and Latin American markets, which was acquired by Connect2Media in August 2008. In 2007 he was voted by Mobile Entertainment magazine as one of the Top 50 most influential executives in mobile.

Prior to entering the mobile business Eric had a long career in Consumer Goods Marketing and International Business Development, encompassing Unilever, Boots The Chemist and was International Marketing Director at the FMCG multi national PZ Cussons. He entered mobile in 2001 when he co-founded the mobile game developer Blue Beck, which was acquired by Hands On Mobile in August 2004.

Eric holds an MBA from Nottingham University.


Peter Scott - CTO and Co-Founder of Connect2Media Ltd

Peter Scott - CTO Peter has a passion for games and the technologies that drive them. Breaking games out of their platform shells that constrict how and where they can be enjoyed has been an obsession for many years, one that will now be realised through Connect2Media.

Before beginning his tenure with Connect2Media Peter was the VP of Global Games Studios for Hands-On Mobile Inc. responsible for all games production. Prior to this he co-founded Blue Beck Ltd with responsibilities for managing the production and delivery of many highly acclaimed web and mobile titles for companies including EA, Jamdat and THQ. He was MD and Co-Founder of Friendly Giants, a ground breaking company in the online, interactive TV games and applications space and made early moves in advi-gaming.

Peter has over 20 years experience in Games Development, having produced games for Sony, Nintendo, Saga, EA, Acclaim and THQ.


Greg Robinson - Chief Operating Officer

Greg RobinsonGreg Robinson is an experienced professional in the areas of project management, business process design and operational management. He has worked previously for both blue chip companies like HSBC, Centrica, Lloyds TSB as well as small innovative companies such as iFone. The latter being developed from a small company to a trade sale priced at $30 million.

Greg has worked within the mobile content arena since 2000 working in Production Management, Operations Director and VP roles. He has lead teams responsible for several ELSPA top 10 games working with brands such Hasbro, Atari, SEGA, Sony Computer Entertainment and Tetris. Prior to joining Connect2Media Greg was the Operations Director at iFone, acquired by Glu Mobile in 2006, VP of Global Post Production and General Manager Europe, Latam and South East Asia for Hands On Mobile.

In his position of Chief Operating Officer of Connect2Media he is responsible for the companys day to day publishing and development operations.


Volker Hirsch - EVP Corporate Development & General Counsel

Volker Hirsch - EVP Corporate Development & General CounselVolker previously worked as VP Corporate & Legal Affairs for Hands-On Mobile overseeing legal affairs, business development and licensing for the EMEA, South-East Asian and Latin American markets where he was responsible for license deals with the likes of LEGO, BMW, Konami or Gumball 3000. Before moving to the UK, Volker was General Counsel for the Malta-based mobile telecoms incubator and investor iWorld Group where he inter alia struck some early landmark deals in the mobile music arena.

Volker is a lawyer by profession, having started his illustrious career in private practice with Luther & Partner, Hamburg and Deringer Tessin [now part of Freshfields], Brussels. He completed a law degree at the universitites of Tübingen and Hamburg and a post-graduate degree in advanced European Studies from the European College Hamburg. Volker is a member of the German bar and the YIAG at the London Court of International Arbitration as well as an international panel member of the Malta Arbitration Centre. He has authored and contributed to books on mergers & acquisitions, investment, media and corporate law.

Volker is a passionate skier and an enthusiastic albeit rather novice golfer.
